Collection of imagined interviews published, according to Vonnegut's introduction, as a fundraiser for New York's public radio station, WNYC, where these musings first appeared as 90-second on-air segments. Interviewees include persons known and unknown - Sir Isaac Newton, Clarence Darrow, James Earl Ray, John Brown, Eugene Debs, et al, along with locals such as Salvatore Biagini, a retired construction worker who died of a heart attack while rescuing his schnauzer from a pit bull. Slender 8vo half blue cloth over white paper boards with spine stamped in silver; 79 pages including "index of persons." Fine in fine dust jacket with front-panel illustration by Jules Feiffer of Vonnegut, cigarette in hand, reclining on a gurney.
