A former owner has applied tape (to the verso of the dustwrapper) at the head of the spine which has now been removed leaving some tape residue. Unusually the spine is entirely un-faded. Black & white line drawings by the noted Illustrator EDWARD BAWDEN. Colour plates showing photos of prepared dishes. The first edition is inexplicably uncommon.
