Revista / Publicación
Soft cover. Condición: Fine. Pablo Marcos, Barry Smith, Esteban Maroto, Al Williamson, Frank Brunner, John Romita Ilustrador. Following the successful debut of Conan the Barbarian in its color comics line the year before, Marvel attempted to move to the less-restricted, non-Comic Code arena of the black and white magazine format in 1971. Rated ?M For The Mature Reader!? the stories presented here contained slightly more daring themes. The lead feature was a Conan story; ?The Frost Giant?s Daughter? adapted by Roy Thomas and illustrated by Barry Smith. Additional features included the first appearance of The Man-Thing and a more brutal, Ka-Zar. Poor distribution led to the title?s cancellation after one issue. The magazine was revived in 1973, this time with more success. In 1974, Ka-Zar became the lead feature with Conan headlining a new title, The Savage Sword of Conan. ?The Frost Giant?s Daughter? was colored to make some adult scenes appropriate for the color comic and saw print in Conan the Barbarian #16. Magazine is bagged & boarded and will be carefully / securely packaged then shipped via USPS Priority Mail to ensure that it arrives to you perfectly and quickly. Collectible Entertainment note: Magazine is in Fine condition. Nice! Please See Scans!! A must have for any serious Conan enthusiast and/or collector. A very fun & entertaining read. Highly Recommended.

Hardcover. Condición: New. Edward Miller; Ken Bald; Frank Frazetta; Al Williamson; Paul Reinman; Emil Gershwin; Mel Kiefer; Edward Moritz Ilustrador. 1st Edition. Out Of The Night, Volume one, July 1951 to April 1952. At eleven years old I discovered these fab comics. A short time later the Puritans arose in America, and their strictures were echoed over here too, and they delivered a death verdict for these extraordinary comics. I'm delighted to see these works so carefully reproduced in these books by PS Publishing. I commend them to all who share my distrust of the moralisers who ban and censor on our behalf. Treat yourself to THE WAY OF THE WEREWOLF; squirm as you dare to turn the pages of LAIR OF THE VAMPIRE. Plus lots of other creepy crawly STUFF! It's all here. All you need is the COURAGE to look and wonder. And if only I had hidden all my comics from dad I would have cleaned up.
