Reseña del editor:
Necropolis is the story of Razia and the city of Delhi. Her tale is very much like the tale of Delhi, a city that is trying to bridge the gap between the old and the new.Razia is a nocturnal creature, a political player, clubber and a lover of poetry. She is the muse of and antagonist to DCP Sajan Dayal. Dayal s roots lie in the bureaucratic service in urban Delhi. His assistant is a heavily built middle-aged man who is a legend in the Delhi police for his connections and approach to law enforcement. Dayal is also assisted by Smita Dhingra who is from the elite Delhi police service. This book follows the three officers as they go in search for a serial collector of fingers. This spirals into encounters with supposed vampires and werewolves, sexual violence, political pressures, and Razia. It is a study of the politics of origin and dilemmas of ownership and class. It can be seen as an investigation of the heart of Delhi.
