Robin Neillands is a journalist and 'one of Britain's most readable historians' (Birmingham Post), a regular contributor to national newspapers and magazines, and the author of more than 30 books. He is well-known as a popular military historian. His Cold Spring Press titles include the hardcover version of Churchill (October 2003) and D-Day 1944: Voices from Normandy. His other books include The Hundred Years War (Routledge), The Wars of the Roses (Cassell), The Desert Rats (Weidenfeld and Orion paperbacks), and the best-selling The Conquest of the Reich, 1945. The Battle of Normandy (Sterling) was listed by the prestigious Sunday Times as one of the six best military histories of 2002. Neillands also lectures on military history at the British National Army Museum and Oxford University.
