Author Scott McNally grew up exploring the woods and ponds of Woodbury, Minnesota, where he currently lives with his wife and his daughter, Emma, along with their chocolate Lab and black cat. He is active in running, cycling, golf, fishing, photography, gardening, cooking, and spending time with his family. The special moments are watching Emma explore her backyard and sharing her curiosity about the rabbits, squirrels, birds, ducks, and geese that pass by.Illustrator Robyn McNaull lives in Woodbury, Minnesota with her husband, daughter, and son. She has shared many stories with children as a kindergarten and early childhood teacher. Some of her interests include art, music, storytelling, books, gardening, outdoor adventures, and travel. One of her favorite places in the whole world is her backyard.
