Reseña del editor:
Summer vacation was the best time of year for Peter, an elementary-age chick from Penguin Colony, Antarctica. With school being on break for the next three months, he and his best friend Matt could spend day and night doing what they enjoyed the most: being “miiiiiiiiiiiiischevious!!” While his mischievous tricks were the best in the Colony, Lois:The Evil Leader of the Girl Army, overshadowed him with a prank so GROSS and AWFUL (yet impressive), he needed the summer break to think of a plan to regain his title as the best mischievous doer! With the help of Matt, the plan they come up with, will set him on an adventure where he encounters suspicious questioning from the town mayor, a near-encounter with the mean old Ms. Menorahscarf, and while in the end he may outdo Lois’ prank, he will find every action bears consequences which cannot be taken back. Biografía del autor:
Ari Bernstein has been writing stories since he was a young child. His two most fondly remembered ones were “Howard in the Dog Show” and “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.” Even though both were illustrated by him, this was before he realized his talents were not in drawing. Through high school and college he continued writing numerous short stories and novellas. After graduating from Northern Arizona University, and during his career, he decided to move onto more ambitious projects. He was inspired to write the Peter the Mischievous Penguin series from his wife Stephanie, whose love for penguins, incredibly sweet nature and inkling to cause trouble gave him the basis for Peter’s personality. Books set to be release in the near future include a full length novel titled “Time Travelers,” and also the sequel in the Peter series, “Peter the Mischievous Penguin: Peter’s Big Plan.” Other than writing, Ari loves running in half marathons, 10k’s, 5k’s and any other kind of running event. In addition to always being on the run, he enjoys hiking, watching movies, playing video games and traveling. He lives in Scottsdale, AZ with his wife Stephanie, son Danny and dog Sammi.
