Reseña del editor:
This book is a collection of narrative quilts and poetry that carries the reader on a journey through African American history from slavery to presidency. The writing is emotional, descriptive, and thought-provoking. The accompanying quilts are as powerful as the poems, making the experience of the poetry visually stimulating. As a whole, this book is a work of art unto itself. Surprisingly, the medium is not fabric. These mixed media collage quilts have been uniquely created by Robin J. Miller. What a wonderful addition to any family library!
