Reseña del editor:
A collection of published writings from the bestselling Irish novelist and newspaper columnist Kate Kerrigan. Covering a wide spectrum of subjects from the challenges of becoming a mother at forty-five - to musings on women's obsession with nice shoes - this is a behind the scenes look at the life of this popular Irish writer. Kate Kerrigan is a best-selling novelist and one-time magazine editor (as Morag Prunty she edited, among others, Just Seventeen, more! magazine and Irish Tatler) who left the busy media whirlwind of London and Dublin to pursue her dream of raising a family in the Irish countryside. A popular newspaper columnist (The Sunday Tribune and Irish Mail) this is an edited collection of her writings - ranging from bite-sized social commentary to more reflective personal pieces about motherhood and loss. As a collection Motherhood & Manolo's is about everywoman's journey to get herself the perfect life – only to find out that there’s no such thing.
