Margaret Wayt DeBolt, as a long time resident of Savannah, was a reporter for the Savannah Morning News, and was involved in many local historical organizations. This was her first book, followed by two popular Savannah cookbooks, and the very popular,"Savannah Spectres and Other Strange Tales. This copy is clean and tight, with no writing or marking to the interior, other than the author's inscription: "Best Wishes---Margaret Wayt Debolt" , on the front free endpaper. 205 pages with many spectacular photos of Savannah in the 1970s, and even more of early Savannah. Dust Jacket has several chips missing, mostly at the back and bottom of the jacket. Jacket has excellent even color. Price is intact and jacket has been covered with a mylar sleeve.
