Reseña del editor:
When Tami Oldham left San Diego, California, to sail the world with her lover, Richard Sharp, in his cutter Mayaluga, they were both fearless, believing their passion could conquer all obstacles. After exploring French Polynesia, the daring couple left Tahiti in hurricane season to deliver another boat, Hazana. Twenty days into their mission, they learn of their mistake, but the high seas provide no easy escape. With every ounce of strength the couple battles the elements, attempting to reach the navigable quadrant of the hurricane. Just as Tami goes below to escape the battering effects of the storm, she hears Richard cry over the roar of the wind, "Oh my God!" before he disappears off the side of the boat, leaving Tami completely alone in the middle of the Pacific during a raging storm. What follows is an incredible story of survival against all odds that will stay with listeners forever.
