About the Author James M aguire is an audio producer, multimedia sound designer and Intern et journalist. He has worked extensively as a composer and MIDI p rogrammer, and is very active in developing audio for Web applica tions. He has been nominated twice for Emmy awards for Excellence in Audio Production. Maguire has an M.A. degree in Interactive C ommunications and writes frequently about Internet issues, includ ing e-commerce, culture, and music. Brandon Barber is product man ager for the Internet's most controversial site, Napster.
