When the spoilt and haughty Dona Constanza tries to divert a river to fill her swimming pool, she starts a running battle with the locals. Biografía del autor:
Louis de Bernières is the best-selling author of Captain Corelli's Mandolin, which won the Commonwealth Writers' Prize, Best Book in 1995. The bottom rear edge adjacent to the spine junction has sustained a small bump but it is barely noticeable. The spine ends are a little softened but the book has no other wear. Inscribed by the author to the title page. Wraparound artwork to glossy unclipped dust wrapper by Chris Shamwana. Some very minor creasing at the spine ends but again, minimally visible.
