Reseña del editor:
SAS is a major software package used for statistical analysis, and has become almost the standard in the pharmaceutical industry. In this handbook each chapter deals with the use of SAS as a tool for answering questions about a particular set of data, (using an appropriate set of statistical techniques). Also, each chapter introduces the data, describes the relevant questions, gives a brief account of the methods to be used, details the SAS instructions needed to undertake the necessary analysis and interprets the SAS output. It is very similar in style and applications to Everitt's book on S-Plus. This text should be of interest to statistical users of SAS, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry and medical research.
