Ryan Giggs started his footballing career playing for Manchester City's Junior team and the England under-15 squad. Within a couple of years all that was to change as Ryan's true allegiances came to fruition – he was signed up as a pro by United on his seventeenth birthday and later switched to playing for the country of his birth, Wales.

Giggs has always made a great first impression – in his debut match for united he scored the only goal in a 1-0 win against Man City; in 1995, he scored in the first 15 seconds of a match against Southampton claiming the third quickest goal in the entire Premiership history.
